In the summer of 2015, Pole Position Gallery owner, and Hope for Tomorrow Charity Founder and Trustee, Christine Mills MBE, and the Spinal Injury charity Aspire, jointly hosted the Le Mans Celebration Dinner, when along with very special guest HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, they were joined by many other VIP’s and high profile guests at The Clothworkers’ Hall in central London.
The French themed event celebrated all things ‘Le Mans’, with some very inspirational drivers present, and some spectacular cars on display.
Racing driver legends who attended included John Surtees OBE, Hope for Tomorrow Patron Derek Bell MBE, Richard Attwood, Maitland Cook, Norman Dewis, Tony O’Keefe, Jackie Oliver, David Piper, David Richards, Guy Smith. Hope for Tomorrow Patron, and former F1 Team Principal, Ross Brawn OBE, was also in attendance.
Pole Position Gallery Manager, Beverley Clayton-Gale, took along a temporary exhibition of many of Pole Position Gallery’s fine artworks, which attracted much attention throughout the evening.
The event was very successful and the funds raised are being split between the two Charities, with Hope for Tomorrow’s share going directly towards their Mobile Chemotherapy Unit project.
